Hotel- Mesquite, NV- Falcon Ridge Hotel

The Falcon Ridge is a beautiful hotel just off the Highway in Mesquite, NV. It has a nice, new feel and is very clean. It is a non-gaming hotel, so the employees are dedicated to their guests. They offer a free breakfast buffet for guests and the hotel itself overlooks the city. There is a Walmart close by which is perfect for grabbing some often-forgotten necessities on a trip.

Customer Service: The employees were polite and we had no problems with them. They did not go above and beyond any kind of expectations, but they were very professional and there if we needed anything. Although there was only one employee when we checked in, there was no wait time. The lobby had plenty of seating in case there had been a wait.

Room Accommodations: The room we stayed in was a Petite Suite, which was indeed "Petite" compared to most other suites. The bathroom was standard, there was a kitchenette, and a living area which included a television, although not flat screen. There were beautiful vaulted ceilings and an arch over the hall to the bed. The bed was comfortable and had a second TV in front of it, again not a flat screen. A nice touch was the balcony directly off the bedroom which included a small table and chairs. I can imagine the rooms overlooking the city would have a lovely view off their balconies, however we were facing the opposite side.

Rating: 7.0

Amenities: There was a pool and a hot tub, but they were kind of small. The breakfast buffet was disappointing, there were no healthy choices- no fruits, not even whole wheat bread- and the food they did have was not the greatest quality.

Price: We looked on the hotel website to find a price and found it to be half the price of just calling the hotel directly. We definitely would not want to pay the full amount to stay in the room we did, however it was fine for the price we ended up paying.
