This hotel is called the South Point because it is located quite a ways south on the I-15 Freeway. Great for those travelers that want to come to Las Vegas from California but don't want to have the traffic and noise of the strip.

Customer Service: We had quite a little wait for check-in. I think they need to have a few more people working the registration desk. There is not a real dedicated lobby so the line for registration just runs straight into the casino floor. The employees were pleasant. We asked if we could extend checkout until 1:00. They said that was not possible so we made other arrangements. The morning of check out we had a issue with our water being shut off which was a little upsetting. We called down to the front desk and apparently it was due to some kind of scheduled maintenance (I am a little unsure why they decided to do this in the morning) but they said they could extend checkout until 1:00 but we had made other arrangements so we asked if they might be able to give us a reason to return by comping us 2 buffet vouchers. They agreed but somewhat begrudgingly.

Room accommodations: The room was nice. The bathroom amenities were from bath and body works and smelled quite good. Pretty standard other then that. A bed, Plasma TV, and a bathroom. We stayed in a king guest room so some of the other rooms may be a more luxorious. Nice place to stay, very comfortable, but nothing too fancy.
